    The Business Advisory Committee of LokSabha consists of 15 members including the Speaker who is the ex-officio Chairperson. The members are nominated by the Speaker. 
    In practice, a new Committee after being nominated by the Speaker is constituted and assumes office in the first week of June every year. 
    The Committee generally meets at the beginning of each Session and thereafter as and when necessary. 
    The function of the Committee is to recommend the time that should be allotted for the discussion of such government legislative and other business as the Speaker, in consultation with the Leader of the House, may direct to be referred to the Committee. 
    The Committee, on its own initiative, may also recommend to the Government to bring forward particular subjects for discussion in the House and recommend allocation of time for such discussions. 
    The decisions reached by the Committee are always unanimous in character and representative of the collective view of the House.

    The Fifth Schedule of the Constitution deals with the administration and control of scheduled areas and scheduled tribes in any state except the four states of Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, and Mizoram.

    Harike Wetland is the largest wetland in northern India in the border of Tarn Taran Sahib district and Ferozepur district of Punjab. 
    The wetland and the lake were formed by constructing the headworks across the Sutlej River in 1953. 
    The headworks are located downstream of the confluence of the Beas and Sutlej rivers just south of Harike village. 
    The rich biodiversity of the wetland plays a vital role in maintaining the precious hydrological balance in the catchment with its vast concentration of migratory fauna. 
    It was accorded as a wetland in 1990, by the Ramsar Convention, as one of the Ramsar sites in India, for conservation, development, and preservation of the ecosystem.

Statement 1 is not correct. Yellow rust or stripe rust is a fungal disease that attacks the leaves of wheat crops by forming yellow stripes and affects their photosynthesis that causes shrivelling of grain size.
Statement 2 is correct. The disease occurs when the rust colonies in the leaves drain the carbohydrates from the plant and reduce the green leaf area. Rain, dew, and fog favour the disease’s development.
