ചെന്നൈ: ടെസ്റ്റ് ക്രിക്കറ്റില്‍ 300 വിക്കറ്റുകള്‍ പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കി ഇശാന്ത് ശര്‍മ. ഇംഗ്ലണ്ടിനെതിരായ ഒന്നാം ടെസ്റ്റില്‍ ഡാനിയേല്‍ ലോറന്‍സിനെ വിക്കറ്റിന് മുന്നില്‍ കുടുക്കിയതോടെയാണ് ഇശാന്ത് നാഴികക്കല്ല് പിന്നിട്ടത്. മൂന്ന് വിക്കറ്റ് നേടുന്ന ആറാമത്തെ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ബൗളറാണ് ഇശാന്ത്. നേട്ടം സ്വന്തമാക്കുന്ന മൂന്നാമത്തെ മാത്രം ഇന്ത്യന്‍ പേസറാണ് ഇശാന്ത്.
619 വിക്കറ്റുകല്‍ വീഴ്ത്തിയിട്ടുള്ള ഇതിഹാസതാരം അനില്‍ കുംബ്ലെയാണ് ഒന്നാമന്‍. പിന്നില്‍ 434 വിക്കറ്റുകള്‍ നേടിയിട്ടുള്ള മുന്‍ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ക്യാപ്റ്റന്‍ കപില്‍ ദേവ്. പേസര്‍മാരുടെ പട്ടികയില്‍ 400ല്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ വിക്കറ്റുകള്‍ നേടിയിട്ടുള്ള ഏക ഇന്ത്യന്‍ താരവും കപില്‍ തന്നെ. 417 വിക്കറ്റ് നേടിയിട്ടുള്ള ഹര്‍ഭജന്‍ സിംഗാണ് മൂന്നാമതുള്ളത്. 382 വിക്കറ്റോടെ ആര്‍ അശ്വിന്‍ നാലാം സ്ഥാനത്തുണ്ട്. 311 വിക്കറ്റുകള്‍ വീഴ്ത്തിയിട്ടുള്ള സഹീര്‍ ഖാന്‍ ഇശാന്തിന് മുന്നില്‍ അഞ്ചാമതുണ്ട്.
തന്റെ 98-ാം ടെസ്റ്റിലാണ് ഇശാന്ത് നേട്ടം സ്വന്തമാക്കിയത്. 32.25 ശരാശരിയിലാണ് ഈ നേട്ടം. 11 തവണ അഞ്ച് വിക്കറ്റ് നേട്ടം സ്വന്തമാക്കി. നാല് തവണ പത്ത് വിക്കറ്റ് നേട്ടവും സ്വന്തമാക്കി. ഒരിക്കല്‍ 10 വിക്കറ്റ് നേട്ടവും ഇശാന്ത് സ്വന്തമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
