വിശാഖപട്ടണം: ഇന്ത്യ- ദക്ഷിണാഫ്രിക്ക ആദ്യ ടെസ്റ്റിലെ ശ്രദ്ധാകേന്ദ്രം ഓപ്പണര്‍ രോഹിത് ശര്‍മ്മയായിരുന്നു. ആദ്യമായി ടെസ്റ്റ് ഓപ്പണറുടെ റോളില്‍ രോഹിത് ക്രീസിലെത്തുമ്പോള്‍ ആരാധകര്‍ വലിയ പ്രതീക്ഷയിലായിരുന്നു. ടെസ്റ്റ് കളിക്കാന്‍ അറിയില്ലെന്ന് വിമര്‍ശിച്ചവര്‍ക്ക് തക്ക മറുപടി കൊടുക്കാന്‍ ഹിറ്റ്‌മാന് ലഭിച്ച സുവര്‍ണാവസരം. അവസരം മുതലാക്കിയ പരിമിത ഓവര്‍ ക്രിക്കറ്റിലെ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ വെടിക്കെട്ട് വീരന്‍ ടെസ്റ്റ് ഓപ്പണിംഗും തനിക്ക് ബാലികേറമലയല്ലെന്ന് തെളിയിച്ചു.
