ഇരുപതുവർഷങ്ങൾക്കു ശേഷം മഞ്ജു വാര്യർ ബിജു മേനോന്റെ നായികയായി അഭിനയിക്കുന്നു എന്ന പ്രത്യേകതയും ചിത്രത്തിനുണ്ട്. ‘കണ്ണെഴുതി പൊട്ടുംതൊട്ട് (1999)’ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലായിരുന്നു ഇരുവരും ഒന്നിച്ച് അഭിനയിച്ചത്.
മലയാള സിനിമാസ്വാദകർ കാത്തിരുന്ന മഞ്ജു വാര്യർ(Manju Warrier) ചിത്രം 'ലളിതം സുന്ദരം'(Lalitham Sundaram) പ്രേക്ഷകർക്ക് മുന്നിലെത്തി. ഒടിടി പ്ലാറ്റ്‌ഫോമായ ഡിസ്നിപ്ലസ് ഹോട്ട്സ്റ്റാറിലൂടെ ആയിരുന്നു റിലീസ്. മഞ്ജു വാര്യരുടെ സഹോദരനും നടനുമായ മധു വാര്യര്‍ ആദ്യമായി സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ചിത്രം കൂടിയാണിത്. കുടുംബ ബന്ധങ്ങളുടെ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിലുള്ള ഒരു ഫീൽ ഗുഡ് മൂവി എന്നാണ് ചിത്രത്തെ കുറിച്ച് പ്രേക്ഷകർ ഒന്നടങ്കം പറയുന്നത്.

For me, its a mix of many feel gud family movies. Gud 1st half, Weak 2nd Half. Usual Climax.

What a simple and sweet movie is . Watch it with your entire family and it will surely make you laugh and cry a bit at some places. Can't think of a better title for this movie.
