ലഖ്നൗ: കിഴക്കൻ ഉത്തർപ്രദേശിന്റെ വികസനത്തിന് നാഴികകല്ലായ പൂര്‍വാഞ്ചൽ എക്സ്പ്രസ് വേ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്രമോദി രാജ്യത്തിന് സമർപ്പിച്ചു. അതിവേഗപാതയിലെ എയർസ്ട്രിപ്പിൽ വ്യോമസേന വിമാനത്തില്‍ പറന്നിറങ്ങിയാണ് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തത്.

അതിവേഗപാതയിലെ എയർസ്ട്രിപ്പിൽ വ്യോമസേനയുടെ സി 130 ഹെര്‍ക്കുലീസ് വിമാനത്തില്‍ നാടകീയമായാണ് നരേന്ദ്രമോദി പറന്നിറങ്ങിയത്. കിഴക്കൻ ഉത്തർപ്രദേശിലെ ഒമ്പത് ജില്ലകളെ തമ്മിൽ ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്ന 340.8 കിലോമീറ്റര്‍ ദൂരമുള്ള ആറു വരി പാതയാണ് പൂര്‍വാഞ്ചൽ എക്സ്പ്രസ് വേ. മൂന്നരകിലോമീറ്റർ എയർസ്ട്രിപ്പ് അടിയന്തരഘട്ടത്തിൽ യുദ്ധവിമാനങ്ങൾ ഇറക്കാൻ സജ്ജമാണെന്നതാണ് ഇവിടുത്തെ മറ്റൊരു സവിശേഷത.
കിഴക്കന്‍ ഉത്തര്‍പ്രദേശിന്‍റെ വികസത്തിന് കരുത്ത് പകരുന്നതാണ് പാതയെന്ന് മോദി പറഞ്ഞു. ഉദ്ഘാടനത്തിന് പിന്നാലെ വ്യോമസേന വിമാനങ്ങളുടെ അഭ്യാസ പ്രകടനവും നടന്നു. സുഖോയ് 30, മിറാഷ് 2000, റഫാൽ, എഎൻ 32 വിമാനങ്ങള്‍ ആകാശ കാഴ്ചയൊരുക്കി. യുപി നിയമസഭാ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് അടുത്തിരിക്കെയാണ് വമ്പൻ വികസന പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം നടന്നത്.
