ദോഹ: ഖത്തറില്‍ ലേബര്‍ ക്യാമ്പിനു തീപിടിച്ച് 11 തൊഴിലാളികള്‍ മരിച്ചു. കത്തിക്കരിഞ്ഞ മൃതദേഹങ്ങള്‍ ഇതുവരെ തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല. മരിച്ചവരില്‍ ഇന്ത്യക്കാര്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെട്ടിട്ടില്ലെന്നാണ് പ്രാഥമിക വിവരം.
ബുധനാഴ്ച അര്‍ധരാത്രിയുണ്ടായ അപകടത്തെ സംബന്ധിച്ചു വിവരങ്ങള്‍ ഏറെ വൈകി മാത്രമാണ് അധികൃതര്‍ പുറത്തു വിട്ടത്. മൃതദേഹങ്ങള്‍ ഹമദ് ആശുപത്രി മോര്‍ച്ചറിയില്‍ സൂക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്.
സല്‍വ ടൂറിസം പ്രോജക്റ്റിന്റെ നിര്‍മാണ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ ഏറ്റെടുത്ത കമ്പനിയിലെ തൊഴിലാളികളാണ് മരിച്ചത്. മൃതദേഹങ്ങള്‍ പൂര്‍ണമായും കത്തിക്കരിഞ്ഞ നിലയിലാണ്. ഡി.എന്‍എ പരിശോധന ഉള്‍പ്പടെയുള്ള അന്വേഷണം പൂര്‍ത്തിയായാല്‍ മാത്രമേ മരിച്ചവര്‍ ഏതു രാജ്യക്കാരാണെന്ന് തിരിച്ചറിയാന്‍ കഴിയൂ.
