ഭാര്യയെ ഐസിഇ ഏജന്‍റുമാർ പിടിച്ച് കൊണ്ട് പോയെന്ന് ഇന്ത്യൻ വംശജനായ ഭർത്താവ്, ഒടുവിൽ ജാസ്മിന്‍റെ കൊലപാതകത്തിൽ ഭർത്താവ് അറസ്റ്റിൽ

കാലിഫോർണിയയിൽ ഇന്ത്യൻ വംശജയായ നഴ്സ് ജാസ്മിൻ ഗില്ലിനെ കാണാതായ സംഭവത്തിൽ ഭർത്താവ് ഗുരീന്ദർ സിങ് ഗിൽ അറസ്റ്റിലായി. ഭാര്യയെ ഇമിഗ്രേഷൻ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ കൊണ്ടുപോയെന്നായിരുന്നു ഇയാളുടെ ആദ്യ മൊഴി. എന്നാൽ പിന്നീട് ജാസ്മിൻ്റെ കത്തിക്കരിഞ്ഞ മൃതദേഹം കണ്ടെത്തുകയായിരുന്നു.

അമേരിക്കയിലെ കാലിഫോർണിയയിൽ ഇന്ത്യൻ വംശജയായ ഭാര്യയെ യുഎസ് ഇമിഗ്രേഷൻ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്തെന്ന് മൊഴി നൽകിയ ഭർത്താവ്, ഭാര്യയുടെ കൊലപാതകക്കേസിൽ അറസ്റ്റിലായി. ജാസ്മിൻ ഗില്ലിന്‍റെ (30) കത്തിക്കരിഞ്ഞ മൃതദേഹാവശിഷ്ടങ്ങൾ കണ്ടെത്തിയതിന് പിന്നാലെയാണ് ഭർത്താവ് ഗുരീന്ദർ സിങ് ഗില്ലിനെ (28) പൊലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തതെന്ന് റിപ്പോർട്ടുകൾ പറയുന്നു. സാക്രമെന്‍റോ കൗണ്ടി ഷെരീഫിന്‍റെ ഓഫീസ് പുറത്തുവിട്ട വിവരങ്ങളാണ് സംഭവം പുറത്തുകൊണ്ടുവന്നത്.

ഐസിഇ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ പിടിച്ച് കൊണ്ട് പോയെന്ന്

സെപ്റ്റംബർ 30 -നാണ് നഴ്സായിരുന്ന ജാസ്മിനെ സാക്രമെന്‍റോയിലെ വീട്ടിൽ വച്ച് അവസാനമായി കണ്ടത്. ഒക്ടോബർ നാലിന് ഒരു ബന്ധുവാണ് ഇവരെ കാണാനില്ലെന്ന് പോലീസിൽ പരാതി നൽകിയത്. പോലീസിന്‍റെ പ്രാഥമിക ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യലിൽ വീട്ടിൽ തപാൽ പരിശോധിക്കുന്നതിനിടെ യുഎസ് ഇമിഗ്രേഷൻ ആൻഡ് കസ്റ്റംസ് എൻഫോഴ്‌സ്‌മെന്‍റ് (ഐസിഇ) ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ ഭാര്യയെ കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്ത് കൊണ്ടുപോയെന്നാണ് ഗുരീന്ദർ പറഞ്ഞത്. അന്വേഷണ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ ഐസിഇയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ ദമ്പതികളുടെ വീട്ടിൽ അത്തരമൊരു നടപടി നടന്നിട്ടില്ലെന്ന് ഏജൻസി വ്യക്തമാക്കി.

AT-RISK MISSING PERSON

Sheriff’s Deputies are asking for the public’s help in locating 30-year-old Jasmine Gill. Jasmine was last seen on the evening of 9/30/26 on foot near Headstock St and Allergretto Way in the Florin area.

Jasmine is 5’3” tall, approximately 137 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing white pajamas with red polka dots (matching top and bottoms).

Due to new information, she is considered At-Risk. Anyone who sees Jasmine or has information regarding her whereabouts is asked to immediately call the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office at 916-874-5115.

ഇതോടെ പോലീസ് ഗുരീന്ദറിനെ കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ച് അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ചു. ഗുരീന്ദറിന്‍റെ മൊഴികൾ വീണ്ടും പരിശോധിച്ച പോലീസ് ആ മൊഴികളിൽ നിരവധി പോരുത്തക്കേടുകൾ കണ്ടെത്തി. ദമ്പതികൾ വിവാഹമോചന നടപടികളിലായിരുന്നെന്നും ഇരുവർക്കുമിടയിൽ കുഞ്ഞിന്‍റെ കസ്റ്റഡിയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട തർക്കം നിലനിന്നിരുന്നെന്നും പോലീസ് അന്വേഷണത്തിൽ കണ്ടെത്തി.

MISSING PERSON / HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION RESULTS IN ARREST OF HUSBAND

Jasmine Gill was last seen at her Sacramento residence on September 30, 2026. On October 4, 2026, her cousin reported Jasmine missing. During the initial investigation, Jasmine’s husband, Gurinder Gill, claimed that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents had taken Jasmine into custody while she was checking the mail at their residence. Detectives contacted ICE, which confirmed that no enforcement activity had occurred at the residence.

As the investigation progressed, Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office detectives identified several inconsistencies in Gurinder’s statements about his wife’s disappearance. Detectives learned that Jasmine and Gurinder were engaged in an ongoing divorce and child custody dispute.

On October 1, 2026, burned human remains were discovered in El Dorado County. It was later confirmed that the remains were those of Jasmine Gill. Based on their investigation, Homicide Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Gurinder for murder.

On Wednesday, October 14, 2026, detectives located and arrested Gurinder. Detectives also executed search warrants at two residences associated with him. Gurinder was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on murder charges and is ineligible for bail.

ഒക്ടോബർ ഒന്നിന് എൽ ഡൊറാഡോ കൗണ്ടിയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയ കത്തിക്കരിഞ്ഞ മനുഷ്യാവശിഷ്ടങ്ങൾ പിന്നീട് നടത്തിയ പരിശോധനയിൽ ജാസ്മിന്‍റെതാണെന്ന് സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചു. തുടർന്ന് അന്വേഷണസംഘം ഒക്ടോബർ 14 -ന് ഗുരീന്ദറിനെ അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്യുകയായിരുന്നു. ഇയാളുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട രണ്ട് താമസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും പോലീസ് പരിശോധന നടത്തി. നിലവിൽ സാക്രമെന്‍റോ കൗണ്ടി ജയിലിൽ കഴിയുന്ന ഗുരീന്ദറിന് ജാമ്യം ലഭിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. ഇരുവർക്കും എട്ട് മാസം പ്രായമുള്ള ഒരു മകനുണ്ട്.
