പരിക്കു കാരണം കഴിഞ്ഞ ഏപ്രിലില്‍ ഏഷ്യന്‍ അത്‌ലറ്റിക്ക് ചാമ്പ്യന്‍ഷിപ്പില്‍ നിന്ന് പിന്മാറിയ ശേഷം ആദ്യമായാണ് ഹിമ 400 മീറ്ററില്‍ മത്സരിച്ചത്.
പ്രേഗ്: പതിനെട്ടു ദിവസത്തിനിടെ അഞ്ചാം സ്വര്‍ണം നേടി ഇന്ത്യൻതാരം ഹിമാ ദാസ്. ചെക്ക് റിപ്പബ്ലിക്കില്‍ നടന്ന ഗ്രാൻപ്രീയിലെ 400 മീറ്ററിലാണ് ഹിമാ ദാസ് സ്വര്‍ണം നേടിയത്. 52.09 സെക്കന്‍ഡിലാണ് ഹിമ ഫിനിഷ് ചെയ്തത്.
സീസണില്‍ ഹിമയുടെ മികച്ച സമയമാണിത്. പരിക്കു കാരണം കഴിഞ്ഞ ഏപ്രിലില്‍ ഏഷ്യന്‍ അത്‌ലറ്റിക്ക് ചാമ്പ്യന്‍ഷിപ്പില്‍ നിന്ന് പിന്മാറിയ ശേഷം ആദ്യമായാണ് ഹിമ 400 മീറ്ററില്‍ മത്സരിച്ചത്.
ജൂലൈ രണ്ടിന് പോളണ്ട് ഗ്രാൻപ്രിയില്‍ 200 മീറ്ററിൽ സ്വര്‍ണം നേടിയാണ് ഹിമ കുതിപ്പ് തുടങ്ങിയത്. ഉജ്ജ്വല പ്രകടനം തുടന്ന ഹിമയെ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോദിയും ക്രിക്കറ്റ് ഇതിഹാസം സച്ചിൻ ടെൻഡുൽക്കറും അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു.
