അര്‍ഷ്ദീപിനെതിരെ സൈബര്‍ ആക്രമണമുണ്ടായി. ഇന്ത്യ- പാകിസ്ഥാന്‍ മത്സരത്തിലുണ്ടാകുന്ന സമ്മര്‍ദ്ദമൊന്നും വിമര്‍ശകര്‍ മനസിലാക്കിയില്ല. താരത്തിന്റെ ചെറിയ പരിചയസമ്പത്ത് പോലും ആരും കണക്കിലെടുത്തില്ല.
ദുബായ്: ഏഷ്യാ കപ്പ് സൂപ്പര്‍ ഫോറില്‍ പാകിസ്ഥാനെതിരെ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ തോല്‍വിയുടെ കാരണമായി പലരും കാണുന്നത് ആസിഫ് അലി നല്‍കിയ അനായാസ ക്യാച്ച് അര്‍ഷ്ദീപ് സിംഗ് വിട്ടുകളഞ്ഞതാണ്. വ്യക്തിഗത സ്‌കോര്‍ രണ്ടില്‍ നില്‍ക്കുമ്പോഴാണ് രവി ബിഷ്‌ണോയിയുടെ പന്തില്‍ അര്‍ഷ്ദീപ് ക്യാച്ച് കളയുന്നത്. പിന്നീട് പാകിസ്ഥാനെ വിജയിപ്പിക്കുന്നതില്‍ ആസിഫ് നിര്‍ണായക പങ്കുവഹിച്ചു. ഭുവനേശ്വര്‍ കുമാര്‍ എറിഞ്ഞ തൊട്ടടുത്ത ഓവറില്‍ ആസിഫ്- ഖുഷ്ദില്‍ ഷാ സഖ്യം 19 റണ്‍സാണ് അടിച്ചെടുത്തത്.
