ബംഗ്ലാദേശ് താരങ്ങള്‍ വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച പ്രാര്‍ഥനക്കായി പള്ളിയിലേക്ക് പോകാനൊരുങ്ങുമ്പോഴാണ് വെടിവെയ്പ്പുണ്ടായത്.
ക്രൈസ്റ്റ്ചര്‍ച്ച്: ന്യൂസിലന്‍ഡിലെ ക്രൈസ്റ്റ്ചര്‍ച്ചിലെ പള്ളിക്ക് സമീപമുണ്ടായ വെടിവെയ്പ്പിന്റെ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തില്‍ ന്യൂസിലന്‍ഡ്-ബംഗ്ലാദേശ് മൂന്നാം ക്രിക്കറ്റ് ടെസ്റ്റ് ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു. ശനിയാഴ്ച ക്രൈസ്റ്റ്ചര്‍ച്ചിലെ ഹാഗ്‌ലി ഓവലിലായിരുന്നു മത്സരം നടക്കേണ്ടിയിരുന്നത്. വെടിവയ്പ്പില്‍ നിന്ന് ബംഗ്ലാദേശ് ക്രിക്കറ്റ് ടീം തലനാരിഴക്കാണ് രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടത്.
