ഇന്ന് പുലർച്ചെയാണ് ചന്ദ്രയാൻ ദൗത്യം അവസാനഘട്ടത്തിൽ വച്ച് പരാജയപ്പെട്ടെന്ന സൂചനകൾ ഇസ്റോ പുറത്തുവിടുന്നത്. ചന്ദ്രോപരിതലത്തിലേക്ക് ഇറങ്ങിയ വിക്രം ലാൻഡറുമായുള്ള ആശയവിനിമയം നഷ്ടമായതായാണ് ഇസ്റോ അറിയിച്ചത്. 2.1 കിലോമീറ്റർ വരെ എല്ലാം വളരെ കൃത്യമായാണ് നീങ്ങിയിരുന്നതെന്നും എന്നാൽ അതിന് ശേഷം ലാൻഡറിൽ നിന്നുള്ള സിഗ്നലുകൾ നഷ്ടമാവുകയായിരുന്നുവെന്നുമാണ് ഐഎസ്ആർഒ ചെയർമാൻ കെ ശിവൻ വ്യക്തമാക്കിയത്.
