ഈ ചിത്രത്തില്‍ വൈസ് ക്യാപ്റ്റന്‍ അജിങ്ക്യാ രഹാനെ ഏറ്റവും പിന്‍നിരയിലും അനുഷ്ക മുന്‍നിരയിലുമായിരുന്നു നിന്നിരുന്നത്. ഇതാണ് ഒരുവിഭാഗം ആരാധകരെ ചൊടിപ്പിച്ചത്. ബിസിസിഐ ട്വീറ്റ് ചെയ്ത ചിത്രത്തിന് താഴെ രൂക്ഷ വിമര്‍ശനവുമായി ചിലര്‍ രംഗത്തെത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു.

— BCCI (@BCCI)ഇതൊരു ടീം ഇവന്റാണെന്നും അല്ലാതെ ഫാമിലി ഫോട്ടോ അല്ലെന്നും ആരാധകര്‍ വിമര്‍ശിച്ചു. ഇങ്ങനെപോയാല്‍ അന്തിമ ഇലവനില്‍ അനുഷ്ക കളിക്കുമെന്നുവരെ ആരാധകര്‍ പറഞ്ഞുവെച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. അനുഷ്ക മാത്രമാണ് കളിക്കാരുടെ ഭാര്യയായി ചിത്രത്തിലുള്ളത്.
മറ്റ് താരങ്ങളുടെ ഭാര്യമാരാരും പങ്കെടുക്കാത്ത ഔദ്യോഗിക ചടങ്ങില്‍ അനുഷ്കക്ക് മാത്രം എന്താണ് പ്രത്യേകതയെന്നും ചിലര്‍ ചോദിക്കുന്നു. വിമര്‍ശനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് കോലിയോ അനുഷ്കയോ ഇതുവരെ മറുപടി നല്‍കിയിട്ടില്ല. ടെസ്റ്റ് പരമ്പരക്കിടെ ഭാര്യമാരെ കൊണ്ടുവരരുതെന്ന് ബിസിസിഐ നിര്‍ദേശം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നെങ്കിലും കോലിയെയും അനുഷ്കയെയും എപ്പോഴും ഒരുമിച്ചാണ് കാണാറുള്ളത്.
