ഗുണ്ടൂര്‍: പ്രശസ്‌ത തെലുങ്ക് ചലച്ചിത്ര നടന്‍ ജയ പ്രകാശ് റെഡ്ഡി അന്തരിച്ചു. ആന്ധ്രപ്രദേശിലെ ഗുണ്ടൂരിലുള്ള വസതിയില്‍ ഹൃദയാഘാതത്തെ തുടര്‍ന്നായിരുന്നു 74കാരനായ താരത്തിന്‍റെ അന്ത്യം. കോമഡി റോളുകളിലൂടെയാണ് ജയ പ്രകാശ് റെഡ്ഡി ശ്രദ്ധ നേടിയത്. ഈ വര്‍ഷം ജനുവരിയില്‍ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ മഹേഷ് ബാബു ചിത്രം 'സാരിലേരു നീക്കെവരു'വിലാണ് അവസാനമായി അഭിനയിച്ചത്.
ജയ പ്രകാശ് റെഡിയുടെ നിര്യാണത്തില്‍ മഹേഷ് ബാബു, ജൂനിയര്‍ എന്‍ടിആര്‍, ആന്ധ്ര മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി വൈ എസ് ജഗന്‍മോഹന്‍ റെഡ്ഡി തുടങ്ങിയ പ്രമുഖര്‍ അനുശോചിച്ചു. തെലുങ്ക് സിനിമയിലെ മികച്ച അഭിനയതാക്കളില്‍ ഒരാളാണ് ജയ പ്രകാശ് റെഡ്ഡിയെന്ന് മഹേഷ് ബാബു അനുസ്‌മരിച്ചു. കോമഡി കഥാപാത്രങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് പുറമെ വില്ലനായും സ്വഭാവ റോളുകളിലും താരം തിളങ്ങിയിരുന്നു.
