El Nino (എൽ നിനോ) is a significant climate pattern characterized by the unusual warming of the Pacific Ocean. ഇത് ആഗോള കാലാവസ്ഥയെയും പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് കേരളത്തിലെയും ഇന്ത്യയിലെയും മൺസൂൺ മഴയെയും (monsoon rainfall) സാരമായി ബാധിക്കുന്ന ഒരു പ്രതിഭാസമാണ്.
